Dr. Mersha
Dr. Mersha had grown up wanting to help people and change their lives. He discovered his love of dentistry when he realized how much confidence a smile can bring someone. Dr. Mersha graduated in 1994, obtaining his DMD degree from Boston University. Originally from Washington, D.C., he moved to Las Vegas for the weather. He opened Discovery Dental in 1999 and the rest is history! Over the years, he has also worked with victims of domestic violence, giving them back their smiles and confidence. He loves doing cosmetic work and fixed dentistry. In his off time, Dr. Mersha loves hanging out with his family, watching basketball games, and eating good food. When you meet Dr. Mersha, you will know you are in caring and committed hands.
Dr. Chow
Dr. Casey Chow is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. He began his undergraduate studies at Westminster before following an athletic scholarship to Coastal Carolina University then the University of Utah where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then completed his dental education here at UNLV. He has perfected a new approach to cosmetic dentistry, raising the standards and expectations with a systematic approach that combines his expertise, digital photography, 3D digital designing, and modeling to achieve your best smile. This takes into account facial symmetry, skin tone, lip contour, and much more. “To be successful, you must fall in love with your work.” Dr. Chow is passionate about his craft and strives for perfection with each of his patients’ smiles.
Dr. Gil Suarez of the Snoring and Sleeping Solutions of Nevada
Dr. Gil Suarez was raised in Reno, Nevada where he attended the University of Nevada at Reno on a full tennis scholarship. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Science. He continued his education at the University of Maryland – Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993, also receiving the Distinguished Oral Medicine Award. After graduation, Dr. Suarez completed a hospital residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. During his residency, he became a published author alongside his mentor, the world-renowned oral pathologist, Dr. Sigurd Krolls. Dr. Suarez returned to Nevada in 1994 and began his private practice in Las Vegas, where he has successfully practiced for 25 years. He continues to expand his knowledge by attending advanced courses in sleep apnea and is on the path to getting his diplomate status. He’s excited to announce the opening of Las Vegas’ only clinic 100% dedicated to the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Suarez is presently working with pulmonologists, cardiologists, neurologists, and E.N.T. specialists in the coordinated treatment of sleep apnea patients and is excited to have the only fully dedicated clinic in Las Vegas to treating obstructive sleep apnea with oral devices. Dr. Suarez enjoys spending time and traveling with his two children, Sofia and Nico. They are involved with lacrosse, baseball, football and snowboarding Dr. Suarez enjoys weightlifting, yoga, kettlebell training, and has a passion for snowboarding and traveling.
