At Discovery Dental & Implants, we believe it is important that we get to know you as an individual. That’s why we invest time getting to know you personally from your first appointment on. By combining our years of dental expertise with your personal situation, we can determine the best course of treatment for your specific needs and desires.
The first visit is always the most important. During your first visit, you will have a complete set of digital x-rays taken. Digital x-rays are minimal radiation and allows dentists to see inside and around the tooth structures where pathology (such as bone loss or tooth decay) commonly lurk. Diagnosing them as early as possible allows for less invasive and more cost-effective treatments. After your x-rays are taken, our doctor will do an oral exam as well as evaluate your x-rays. Doctor will go over his findings, answer any questions you may have and create a treatment plan best for you. Following this appointment, or on the same day, we will set up an appointment with Lauren, our hygienist. We understand that your schedule is busy so, when preparing for your first visit, please allow 60-120 minutes.
Please bring:
- Driver’s license or picture identification
- Completed new patient paperwork
- Dental Insurance card or dental insurance information
